Mega Man X3 Zero Project (Mega Man X3) Check Out This Rom Hack. Many think the third installment in the Mega Man X series is the last truly great game in the franchise. But there’s one area where Mega Man X4 and subsequent titles surpass it: Zero as a playable character. Mega Man Mega Man Simplified Platformer You think Mega Man is too hard? This hack is for you! Mostly the same game, but with damage ratios skewed against enemies, stage hazards lowered and/or having a way to (mostly) avoid them, and more in-stage items. This ROM hack is a major overhaul of Mega Man 4 that changes the original game so much that it can almost be considered a new game altogether. In fact, with the exception of the names of the 8 robot masters, very little is left from the original game. Mega Man 4 Voyage strives to be one of the most extensive Mega Man ROM hacks to be 100%.
Name | Description |
Dr. Light's Rescue | Rockman has to rescue Dr. Light, who has been kidnapped by Dr. Wily's robot masters. |
l33t man | This is a text hack that translates the normal English into 'l33tspeak'. |
Mega Man Simplified | The purpose of this hack was to make the original Mega Man much easier for gamers that find games that aren’t too incredibly tough more enjoyable. |
Mega weakness (not finished yet) | where you can defeat any boss (only with cutman more robot masters to defeat soon) |
Megagirl | In this patch almost EVERY in-stage enemy has been altered to look like a female. The bosses have been altered in other (often stranger) ways, including their names. Little kids tend to laugh out loud at this hack! ;> Megaman himself has been changed in that (s)he now has hips and a ponytail in every animation frame. |
MegaGirl | |
MegaMan 1 Sprite Correction | This is a sprite correction, it changes up the sprites to resemble the later MegaMan games. (use the US version.) |
Megaman EX | This patch changes the levels to make them harder. |
Megaman in the Mushroom Kingdom | Dr. Wily finally concedes that Mega Man may be too much for his evil robotic creations. Determined to get the best of the blue bomber, Dr. Wily contacts another famous villian, Bowser! Having combined their forces, Dr Wily and Bowser unleash their new destructive creations upon the Mushroom Kingdom. After hearing news of Wily’s new plan, Mega Man decides to travel to the Mushroom Kingdom himself to stop Wily again. Mega Man now finds himself in a strange new world filled with obstacles and locales very foreign to him. Fearless, Mega Man presses on to Super Mario’s old stomping grounds to defeat these new foes. Mega Man in the MK is set in various classic Mario games. Including Super Mario Bros1, 2, 3 and World. Megaman faces off against Wily’s Bosses as well as Bowser’s minions. This being Super Mario’s World, he gladly helps out Mega Man by increasing his jumping power as well as outfitting the Blue Bomber with some of his old garbs. |
Megaman Plus | This hack changes the game so that you are playing as an upgraded Megaman robot called Megaman plus. The story has been changed to reflect this change to the game. |
Megaman Showdown 1 | A hack of Megaman 1. This hack makes all the stages 2 screens and only Boss Fights. With the exception of Wily stages 2 and 4. |
MegaMan Unbound | This is a remix of all the levels, and some sprites are changed. |
MegaMari | This is a hack of the JP version of Megaman called Rockman. The hack changes the level design, palette, and graphics. It is a parody of a Megaman-inspired game for PC called MegaMari. |
Protoman - The New Adventures | Here is a hack of Mega Man where you can play as Protoman in his own adventure! All the levels have been redesigned with a new layout and some graphics changes. Also some of the stage music has been changed also. |
Protoman: The Red Bomber | This is Dragonsbrethren’s lame first hack. |
Rockman 2000 | Kuwata’s first hack of Rockman (1). It features new levels, graphics, enemies, and even music. The levels are very challenging; some even have small puzzles in them. It should be noted this hack will not work with a Mega Man ROM, you need to patch a Rockman ROM. |

Megaman X3 Zero Project (Q and A) Question: What is a SNES Rom Hack? Answer: A SNES ROM Hack is where someone has taken the original SNES Game and has modified it with new graphics / levels / characters. Some hacks are very good and can create completely new games, whilst others are not done very well and can even be unplayable. Here in EmulatorOnline.com, we have plenty of Mega Man games from the classic action platforming arcade video games to the role-playing strategy adventures of Lan Hikari and his PeT Mega Man. We also have a selection of ROM hacks involving the popular character Mega Man (Rock Man in Japanese). Pick a game, start playing, and start having fun!
- Contains all of the patches listed below
hadouken.ips
Created By: DarkSamus993, PowerPanda
- This patch will grant the Hadouken the 1st time you reach the end of Armored Armadillo’s stage with all upgrades, weapons, and subtanks, rather than the 5th time. In addition, two upgrades have been made to the Hadouken itself.
1. The Hadouken can hit an enemy during I-frames, since the game will often fire a single pellet shot before launching the Hadouken.
2. The Hadouken works on WolfSigma (the final boss). This was included in the PSP remake Maverick Hunter X. The room layout in the SNES version makes it significantly harder to pull off though.

- Zero will not give you the Zero Buster after the fight with Vile. The only way to obtain the Buster Upgrade is to find the capsule.
wolfsigma.ips

Special Thanks to: RainPoncho, DarkSamus993
- This patch changes the damage output on WolfSigma (the final boss). In the original game, he could only be damaged by Buster Charge Lv3 (1 dmg) and Rolling Shield (2 dmg). Since it is now possible to do a no-upgrades run, WolfSigma now takes 1 dmg from Charge Shot Lv2, 2 dmg from Charge Shot Lv3, and 3 damage from Rolling Shield. This makes the boss slightly easier, and more in line with the difficulty of the rest of the game.

Mega Man X Rom Snes
Created By: PowerPanda Using the “Mega ED X” software coded by Xeeynamo
- This is a more extensive patch that makes 4 major changes and 2 minor changes to the stage layout. The major changes affect how you obtain upgrades, while the minor changes simply streamline two levels.
- MAJOR CHANGES
1. Chill Penguin - The Leg Capsule is skippable. See the FAQ for an explanation of the slightly odd level layout.
2. Flame Mammoth - The Helmet Upgrade is no longer needed to access the X-buster upgrade. The ceiling has been shifted 2 blocks to the right and 1 block down to make it easier to access.
3. Flame Mammoth - The Helmet Upgrade is now required for breaking the blocks in front of the subtank. Previously, the player could use either the Helmet OR the Boots to obtain this.
4. Armored Armadillo - The Helmet Upgrade is required for obtaining the heart tank.

- MINOR CHANGES
1. Chill Penguin - One platform has been extended by 2 blocks so the spiked wheel enemies do not drop down on your head before you can see them.
2. Spark Mandrill - A ladder has been added in the first section so that you do not need to backtrack after obtaining the subtank.

- These patches start X with his normal dash. The dash boots capsule, in turn, grants the air dash seen in Mega Man X2 and beyond. In addition, the player no longer needs to jump and dash at the same time to dash jump off of a wall. They can hold the dash button down and then press jump.
